1. Solar energy is becoming more and more popular as a source of household energy in many

countries around the world. Why is this? What are the advantages and disadvantages of solar energy?

2. Many people believe that living a city life offers greater benefits as compared to the countryside? To 

what extent do you agree or disagree?

3. Many people are afraid to leave their home because of crime. Some believe that more action should be taken to prevent crime. While others feel that little action can be done to stop crime. What is your view?

10. International tourism has brought about enormous benefits to many places. At the same time, there is concern about its impact on local inhabitants and the environment. Do the disadvantages of international tourism outweigh the advantages?

IELTS Writing Task 2 Samples  It is often said that governments spend too much money on projects to protect wildlife. While there are other problems that are more important? Do you agree or disagree? Many people argue that money spend on safety of animals is utterly wastage.
