In the prevailing scenario, employers judge interviewers on various parameters such as age, qualification, experience, and mannerism. Some people believe that recruiters choose candidates based on their characters and attributes. According to them, these traits are much essential than qualification and skills. As far as I am concerned, giving preference to inner-traits is completely preposterous. This essay shall discuss the reasons for this point of view.
It is irrefutable that people are being judged on mannerism rather than knowledge in many companies. Their personal skills like team-leading are obligatory in the growth of a company. For instance, during the batch recruitment for a project the biggest IT company Google divided applicants into several groups and assigned them various tasks. Which lead to the selection of a specific group, which performed spectacularly in those tasks.
On the other side, a profound number of companies give importance to professional skills over personal traits. The predominant reason behind this thought is to select the specially trained candidate for a particular job. The senior human resource manager of IBM India told journalists that I will never give preference to nature of candidate over knowledge and skills. A well mannered but unskilled worker cannot find bugs from our software, he added
